We tailor make your birthday party. Adults and Kids parties. Fashion fun is not just for kids!
Choose what you want to do from the list below, all parties are focused on being a Fashion Designer. A sustainable fashion designer! Kim will meet you to discuss and target your creative ideas to get the most out of your party.
• CUSTOMISE & DECORATE - We will show you how to do hand sewing, hand embroidery, applique and decorative stiching techniques. We will help you to customise and upcycle your wardrobe. Please bring your favourite pieces from your wardrobe to recycle, upcycle, decorate and customise. We love decorating t-shirts, denim and even converse! We will show you examples of what we have decorated to inspire you.
* REFASHION with fabric paints and fabric pens. This is the quickest idea to get the most out of a party. If you find sewing a little daunting, if your guests are younger, painting and drawing is a brilliant alternative to leave the party with an amazing creation. Decorate denim or cotton tote bags works particularly well for painting.
* We finish the party with a CATWALK SHOW! Kids love this as a grand finale to their day. The rehersal is very funny and sometimes they become too giggly to be in the little catwalk show but boy do they have fun!
• FASHION DESIGN & FASHION ILLUSTRATION - we can introduce you to fashion designing and illustration. Make a mood board, plan your colour palette and select your fabrics. Develop your own ideas. This is how fashion designers develop ideas before they make up their creations.
Maximum 6 people plus birthday child or adult. Parties are usually two hours long, including time for birthday cake! Please allow a set up and tidy up 1/2 hour before and after party.
Venues - we are a pop up events venture so we can pop up anywhere.
All art and sewing materials included in the fee. Kim can suggest where you can buy sustainable cotton tote bags to decorate and sustainable cotton party bags too!
